About The Men's Company
This site is written and published by the agency you would be applying to. Here is who that is.
An agency for straight male escorts
The Men’s Company, or TMC, was founded in 2009. It is an introduction and booking agency with a narrow focus: high-class, heterosexual male escorts for women and for male-female couples. That focus is the reason women who book through it know what to expect.
The agency is Dutch. It has escorts in 14 countries, and its own websites are in Dutch, German and English. Bookings take place throughout Europe and also in America and Asia. Many clients are regulars, a good number of them international.
The English-language site for clients is gigolo-escort.co.uk. If you want to see how escorts are presented and what clients are told, that is the place to look before you apply.
How it selects
TMC receives thousands of applications a year. Very few lead to a profile. The agency would sooner show clients a small number of men it is sure of than a long list it is not, and it says so openly: quality before quantity.
The qualities it looks for are a well-kept and attractive appearance, good conversation, life experience and confidence, a service-minded attitude, empathy, a good level of education and manners, and above all reliability, respect and hygiene. The page on male escort requirements goes through them.
How it works with escorts
Escorts are independent. They work with the agency on an equal footing, without a contract of legal clauses, and either side can end things whenever it likes. An escort can always decline a request, a client or a particular act.
The agency decides with each escort which clients he is likely to suit, designs his profile and chooses the photos together with him. His rate is agreed individually. He works under an alias, and his personal details are not shared with clients or anyone else.
Applicants pay nothing: no registration fee, no interview fee, nothing for photos. New escorts are fully briefed and the agency continues to coach them.
That this suits people is clear from how long they stay. Many escorts have been with TMC for years, some for as long as twelve.
How it works with clients
A client chooses an escort from the profiles on the agency’s site and makes her request to the agency. She pays the agency a fee in advance for each booking, and pays the escort in cash at the start of the appointment. Because of the advance fee, bookings nearly always go ahead.
Client details stay with the agency. The agency’s rule of safe sex only, and the three-monthly STI and HIV testing of every escort, are part of what clients are paying for.
Why this guide exists
Most of what is written about how to become a male escort is either fantasy or an attempt to sell a course. Neither helps the agency, which then receives applications from men who expect to be paid for going out to dinner.
This guide is meant to correct that before the application stage. It sets out the work, the money and the rules as they are, including the parts that put people off. The men who apply after reading it know what they are applying for, which saves time on both sides.
If you have not read it yet, what male escort work is really like is the page to start with.
